With a history dating back to the 1800s, Millpond Gathering is a newly renovated wedding venue. The Millpond Gathings brand encompasses five different brands into one destination including their steakhouse, tavern, event venue, market, and inn. This venue is ideal for couples longing for sprawling farm views, farm-to-table menu options, and absolutely killer rustic vibes for days.

Ceremony and Reception Spaces

The event hall at Millpond Gathering is the primary event space for weddings. This space features a rather rustic vibe and can accommodate up to 200 guests. It also features a small balcony overlooking the event space with custom steel and woodwork.

The steakhouse is an elegant space featuring large open windows overlooking the pond, rustic woodwork throughout, and gourmet food options. The space also has an outdoor patio overlooking the pond. Right off of the main steakhouse is the tavern. This space offers a large bartop with unique lighting and a continued rustic vibe.

Amenities at Millpond Gathering

Millpond Gathering is a National Historic Place in New Haven County offering a unique part of history on your wedding day. The area is also surrounded by beautiful farm views with numerous farms and wineries surrounding the property and providing a stunning backdrop (make sure your photographer has extra batteries.. they’re going to need them).

On-site also features a pond, which much of the venue overlooks, as well as a covered bridge over the pond. Their menu consists of farm-fresh produce, local dayboat seafood, and dry-aged beef from their own cattle farm, 3B Ranch, just two miles down the road.

The ranch has been raising cattle for years. They have naturally raised grass-fed beef, ensuring that your wedding day menu will feature only the finest meats. The farm also does offer wedding services with a wedding pavilion for an additional event space option. There are more amenities soon to be added to the Millpond Gathering as well! The market is scheduled to open sometime in 2022 and will feature large cuts of beef, produce from local farms, and other shopping options for you and your guests to enjoy. Expected in 2024, they also are planning to add an inn for overnight guests on-property. This added feature will allow you and your guests to have a palace to unwind after your wedding day, and extend the celebration even longer!
