Ceremony and Reception Spaces

Originally built in 1901 as a post and beam factory, today the New England Carousel Museum serves as a preservation of history while also offering a wedding venue full of history and art. Being a museum wedding venue comes with an added bonus of numerous museum exhibits and collections. The main gallery allows you to exchange your vows in the midst of the exhibits and artistry. The main gallery also features a large fully functioning carousel which guests can enjoy during the celebration. The upstairs ballroom offers a bit more space to extend your wedding celebration. This second-floor event space features original wood furnishings, a large dance floor, and some killer Venetian crystal chandeliers.

Amenities

Weddings at the New England Carousel Museum come customary with the exclusive use of your event space, tables, chairs, on-site parking, set up, and tear down. You also have the option of touring the exhibits throughout the museum as well as 1 hour of ride time on the large indoor carousel.

Wedding celebrations come with an event coordinator to help plan and curate the space for your dream environment. You also will have access to the museum manager as well as a carousel operator to help you fully experience the surrounding exhibits and history. The museum has a BYO alcohol policy allowing you to customize your bar experience on your own to fit your exact wants and needs for your reception.
