Matt & Jill — A Harkness Park Engagement Session
I had an incredible time with Matt and Jill on their engagement session at Harkness Memorial State Park. It was a little overcast at the start, but the sun broke through at just the right time — and we got that golden, late-summer Connecticut sunset I’ll chase every single weekend.
Matt and Jill picked Harkness because it was meaningful to them — it’s where they had their second date. I always tell my couples to choose a location for their engagement session that means something. You’re more comfortable in a place you already know, and the photos become part of your story instead of a random pretty backdrop.
