August 9, 2025 | Private Beach Clubhouse, Giants Neck, Rocky Neck State Park

What happens when a couple fall in love over vintage music and lobster dinners? You get Mariana and Jesse’s joy-soaked wedding—a celebration rooted in grit, gratitude, and deep connection.

Their day unfolded at a private community beach and clubhouse in Niantic, Connecticut, where the tearful first look with Mariana’s dad to golden hour portraits on the beach, just a short stroll from the party.

Why This Wedding Hit Different

They met at Free Play, an arcade bar with vintage music. Mariana saw Jesse dancing and knew instantly—“We matched at first sight.” A home-cooked lobster dinner and a kitchen dance sealed the deal. By their second date, they were in love… and house-hunting. They renovated a duplex together in just one month.

“If we went through that, we can go through anything.” – Mariana

Their Philosophy:
Jesse, a science teacher with a soft heart and a deeply sentimental streak, created a video montage of Mariana’s childhood photos for her 40th birthday. Her family albums are back in Brazil—and she hadn’t seen many of those photos in years.

“Photos are my memories. They’re what I miss the most.” – Mariana

Why Photography Mattered:
Photography was one thing they refused to cut corners on. They wanted a day lived fully—and documented with real emotion.

Mariana & Jesse — thank you.

Thank you for trusting me to document your day with such openness, humor, and heart. From the very first call, it was clear you two don’t just love each other—you show up for each other. It was an absolute joy to witness the strength, silliness, and sincerity that you bring into every moment. Here’s to many more kitchen dances, sunset walks, and shared projects (maybe fewer drywall repairs this time).

Can’t wait to share the full story soon. 🧡
