When you pull up to the Lounsbury House it’s like, okay yeah, this is fancy. Big-ass columns. Perfect lawn. The kind of place that whispers “old money” but doesn’t shove it down your throat. But then you step inside and it hits different—it’s warm. It creaks a little. It smells like wood and stories. It feels like the kind of house where people have laughed hard, cried harder, and maybe dropped a glass or two on the dance floor.
It’s not sterile. It’s not a wedding factory. It’s got soul.
As a couple—you get the best of both worlds. Want to wear a dress with a 12-foot train and enter like royalty? Do it. Want to sneak off barefoot after the ceremony to eat pizza on the lawn while your friends shotgun beers? That’s welcome here too. The place is elegant, yeah—but it doesn’t take itself too seriously. And that makes you feel more grounded. More like yourself. You don’t have to perform here. You just get to be.
This isn’t about “having a wedding.”
It’s about living the hell out of it.
You’re not getting married to check a box. It’s a day full of meaning, chaos, and connection that deserves to be experienced.
You don’t need proof you got married. You want proof that it mattered!

From my side—Lounsbury is the kind of venue that’s always got something to give. Great places to craft killer photos. The light pours in just right. The rooms hug people close. And that porch? I’ve seen first looks there that felt like movie scenes, and I’ve also seen uncles take whiskey naps there during cocktail hour. Both perfect.
Tara and Rich’s wedding was insane from start to finish. It rained for a bit but that did not slow the day down one bit. It was packed with friends, family, and good freaking bides from start to finish! Tara and Rich, I can’t thank you enough for allowing me into your lives. What started with a walk with Parker and getting drinks at Sono 1420, has turned into an amazing friendship. You two are freaking rock stars!!
