This man was getting down on the floor, awkwardly angling his body and anything else you can think of just to get the perfect shot!! Even wedding guests were coming up to me to tell me how amazing TJ and his team were. We are waiting on our full portfolio of photos but the sneak peek photos came out stunning. TJ really pays attention to what you want and makes it happen. What I love most about TJ and his team is that they are cinematic photographers. You will get the normal poses/shots you want but he does place an emphasis on candid photos to which, in my opinion, you get better photos of everyone. Common Hartford Connecticut wedding photographer questions I’m often asked.

True Full Day is the only way Ladman Studios shoots weddings. Every experience includes a three-person team — TJ, a second photographer, and an assistant — and up to 12 hours of coverage on the day. No hourly tiers. No deciding which parts of the day are worth keeping. You live the whole thing, we document the whole thing.

Once we’ve met and you’re ready to move forward, I send over the contract and a retainer invoice. Your date is officially locked in the moment both are signed and paid. From there, you get access to my private planning guides, and I check in throughout your engagement so nothing slips through the cracks. No ghosting, no “see you the morning of.”

Most of my couples book 9 to 14 months out. Peak dates (Friday/Saturday September–October) tend to fill 12–18 months in advance. If you’re reading this less than 6 months from your date, reach out anyway — sometimes I have openings, and the worst I can tell you is no.

The best way to find out is to actually talk. After you inquire, we’ll set up a meet & greet (video or in-person) where you can see if my energy clicks with yours. If it doesn’t feel right for either of us, I’ll say so — and I’d rather help you find someone who is the right fit than book a wedding that shouldn’t be mine. PS: Both partners should be on the call.

I do offer a highlight of the day. This is a 2-3-minute video of the day, with photography as the primary focus.

Yes! Designing your wedding album to tell the narrative of your day is one of my favorite parts. Most of my collections come with a wedding album.

Yes, all of my experiences include my 2nd photographer.

Yes, and travel within Connecticut is included at no extra charge. I am based in Brooklyn, CT, which puts Hartford and the surrounding towns within an easy drive. West Hartford, Farmington, Simsbury, Glastonbury, Manchester, wherever your day is happening, I will be there.

Yes, and I call them Side Quests. Instead of awkward posing in a field somewhere you have never been before, we do a meaningful activity somewhere that matters to you. We finish with some intentional portraits at the end. Side Quests start at $1800 and are included in both my Anthology and Chronicle experiences.
